This Privacy Policy explains how Matt Bauman ("I", "me", "my") handles information in connection with the website mattbauman.me (the "Site"). I take a minimal-data approach: this is a simple informational website, and I do not run advertising or behavioral tracking on it.

Information I collect

Information you choose to send me. If you email me at matt@mattbauman.me or book a call through the scheduling link, you provide details such as your name, email address, and anything you include in your message. I use this solely to respond to you and to discuss potential work.
Booking information. The "Book a Strategy Call" buttons link to Google Calendar's appointment scheduling. When you book, your details are collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy, not by this Site.
Basic server logs. Like most websites, the Site's hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability. I do not use this to identify individual visitors.

Third-party services

The Site loads the Poppins font from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, your IP address and request information are shared with Google as described in their privacy policy. The Site does not currently use analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party cookies.

Cookies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party services you interact with (such as Google's scheduling tools) may set their own cookies under their own policies.

How I use information

To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
To schedule and prepare for calls or engagements.
To maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.

How I share information

I do not sell your personal information. I only share information with service providers that help operate the Site and my business (for example, email and scheduling tools), or where required by law.

Data retention

I keep correspondence and booking information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete it.

Your choices

You can reach out at any time to ask what information I hold about you, to request a correction, or to ask me to delete it. Email matt@mattbauman.me.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
